Methods and Approaches to Optimizing the Number of Staff

Abstract

Currently almost every organization is an urgent issue to minimize the costs in the first place information, the number of personnel to a minimum. In this connection, the article examines the main approaches to the optimization of personnel, the methods of calculating the number. The methods for calculating the number of workers and managerial staff on the basis of the complexity of the production program and management functions on jobs and standards of service. However, in the calculations, it is necessary to trace how the estimated number of personnel will affect the ultimate performance of the organization as a whole. You should pay attention to the existing standards of strength for both production and management processes. In the first place, should not affect the quality of functions performed, services provided, the manufacturing of products. Remember that mental, intellectual, analytical work, expert operations and calculations require additional time for analysis and processing of information. Therefore, the calculation of the administrative personnel cannot be reduced the figures to a critical minimum and force professionals and managers to work in accelerated mode. To avoid possible errors in functions, reduced quality of work. As a result of workforce optimization as a rule the question and its minimization, in this connection, the article briefly considers methods of reducing personnel.
